International School of Boston United States
Founded in 1962, ISB has grown from a Jardin d’Enfants with one teacher and three children in a Belmont basement into a flourishing learning environment with two campuses and more than 600 students from dozens of countries. ISB began its Upper School in 1999. The first graduating class to earn their French Baccalaureate was in 2001. The school also added the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB), graduating its first IB class in 2006. That same year, the school received full accreditation by the French authorities for its entire curriculum, from Pre-School through Grade 12. Shortly thereafter, capping years of growth and success, the school adopted the International School of Boston name.
