European School Georgia
ES-IS has been created to allow Georgian and international students to develop as learners through the International Baccalaureate programmes. The International Section operates alongside and in the same facility as the European School Georgian Section and the European School American High School which together educate over 500 students (K-12). In August 2011 two new floors were opened which comprise the main body of ES-IS with classrooms, cafeteria, conference spaces, social areas, computer rooms and library. Other resources are currently shared between Sections where teachers collaborate together to ensure the best of both systems. In September 2014, the school will open a new block to house the growing International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and other shared facilities.
