Borel Middle School United States
Borel opened on April 11, 1929, as an elementary school with 150 students and 4 teachers. The school was named in honor of Antoine Borel, a San Mateo community leader. Borel’s curriculum and instructional practices are aligned with California State and International Baccalaureate standards. As an authorized International Baccalaureate World School, we emphasize rigorous standards-based instruction through best-practices, including hands-on learning and differentiated instruction, in order to meet the learning needs of all students.
