JustInternationalSchools understands that education does not begin or end in the classroom. According to JustInternationalSchools students engage in variety of extra-curricular activities that foster Action,Creativity and Service (CAS).
Service is an especially important element at JustInternationalSchools. Many countries face serious problems educating children, especially those who are from poor families. Although remarkable progress is being made in the field of technology and other fields, many children living in poverty have little access to quality schools. Some schools children participate in fund raising to help people struck my a calamity.
Community Service can also be in the field of environment preservation in school community level through skits, puppet shows, debates, quiz etc. For eg. water conservation through water recycling or recycling the waste by composite pit.
Schools we have come across helping differently able children. Invite them to campus where they participate in different cultural programmes. Many schools arrange regular trips for children to visit old age homes and distribute food and present cultural programmes for the inmates whom they consider as their Grand Parents.
It does not end with just the above, teaching students to develop the skills among themselves that could help them become better individuals also technically is a service to the community. Maintain vegetable gardens, grow more trees, do plumbing, carpentry and cook food in the kitchen, clean up the campus and assemble audio-visual systems for school programmes – to promote dignity of labour and value different work areas of life, apart from gaining insights into self-help and survival skills.
